New creative classes and clubs for children launch in over eight hundred locations nationwide

Standard

The UK’s leading children’s arts and crafts activity company launches new pre-school and after-school clubs, across the country.

Rebecca White, on the independent Trust Pilot review site, stated:
“We have been coming along to the art sessions since my little girl was 2 and I wish we had known about it when she was even younger, as babies can do it too. This is truly one of the best activity classes you can do for your child. They get to explore, create and learn – all at the same time. There is paint, glitter, foam pieces, sequins and glue. Basically, all the things children want to play with. And no need to worry about the mess. They provide full overall suits that cover them from head to toe and they provide water and cloths to wash those sticky hands and feet afterwards, so mums can breathe a sigh of relief. Every week is a different theme, so they don’t get bored doing the same thing, and you get to take your creations home. It is such a wonderful class I cannot recommend it enough.”

The classes have a five-star rating on Trust Pilot, from two hundred and eighty-eight reviews.  They are delivered nationwide by a team of DBS checked, first-aid trained, and safeguarding-trained Creation Station franchise owners. The classes:

Baby Discover Classes (weekly)

  • Baby Discover classes, for parents and carers of 6-15 month old babies. Designed to help babies explore and discover their world through safe, tried and tested hands-on and toes-on creative activities.

Little Explorer Classes (weekly)

  • Little Explorer classes, for parents or carers with their 16 months to five-year-old child. The classes support children to explore materials and concepts, discover new techniques, ideas, and develop skills and confidence.
  • Pre-school classes are called ‘Scrunchy, Crunchy, Bumpy – hands-on discovery’. They include activities exploring scrunchy and crunchy, squishy and squashy and slippery and slimy textures. Activities include creating see-through moveable pictures, mobiles, puppets, and clay creations.

Create Clubs (weekly, after-school and holidays)

  • Create Clubs provide nurturing, creative, fun after-school activities. They are designed to support the child’s exploration, develop their ideas, discover techniques, and grow their confidence, creativity and problem-solving skills. This term’s theme is the Art of Science and includes examining reflections, optical illusions and the solar system.

Sarah Cressall, founder of The Creation Station Ltd, said:
“I’m delighted that since 2002 we have been able to help inspire over 250,000 children and families through classes, clubs and parties. We are passionate about helping to bring creativity back into childhood, to help unlock their unique potential.  We work in partnership with lots of schools as well as local councils and family friendly companies who want to extend their range of services and bring families into their venue. I’m really grateful to all our partners, franchise owners and parents who help to inspire children’s imaginations.”

Lisa Hagg celebrates her 6th successful year with her own Creation Station Franchise

Lisa Hagg

I am delighted to be celebrating my 6th successful year running my own Creation Station franchise. My business keeps getting better and better. Here are just some of my highlights for 2016 so far…

*I have helped to inspire over 1,600 children in Bournemouth, just within the last 6 months alone. Bookings have reached an all-time record with regular contracts and waiting lists for my classes and we’re only half way through the year.

* My business has grown to an exciting new level. I have a successful team of great staff who run many of the classes and parties. Due to demand I am able to take advantage of the head office business developments and I am launching into after-school clubs and adult classes.

*I am making full use of the 5 star customer rating we have on Trustpilot as a national company. I am also making use of the extensive social media content that is created and provided by our Creative Hub head office, for me to share.

* I have strong brand presence in the area and this is supported by the fact we can gain contracts to run the Kidszones at the local family festivals. I’ve been working closely with a Bournemouth based event company which is leading to further contracts and partnerships within my community.

* By promoting our national monthly prize draw that ‘Creative Hub’ Head Office run every month, I’ve boosted my growing database to cross sell my services.

* My income has doubled in the last year alone and I can see my business continuing to thrive as we connect and help with so many children, parents, grandparents, local businesses, family focused and educational organizations.

Lisa Hagg

The Creation Station brand has just gone from strength to strength and is all about inspiring imaginations and nurturing potential. It’s wonderful to be part of such a positive and dynamic team.

I love being able to chose what I do and to be in control of my working hours. I also have the time I want to have with my girls, I choose the hours I work and our head office team support me to achieve what I want out of running my own business.

It’s definitely a different path to my years in banking and I feel very fortunate and proud of the work I do now. It was the right decision to take time out to reflect on what I really wanted back in 2010. Making the decision to have more fulfillment and control over my working life means that as well as now running my own rewarding and profitable business, I have been there for my girls.

I’ve grown in so many ways in the last six years. I’ve made so many new friends and had so much fun running my business. I’m really looking forward to seeing what exciting things 2017 holds for me, my family and my business.

Sarah is a mum of three and was looking for ways to inspire her children’s creative side and encourage discovery through their unique creative potential. The Creation Station was born and their aim is to help young children learn to make choices, share, listen, observe and problem solve.

And the prize awaiting the eventual winner is almost so good it’s priceless! The winning business will get an all-expense paid trip to Necker Island for a four-day Leadership Gathering taking place in 2017 called ‘Disrupting for Good’, six hours of dedicated mentoring and workshops with Virgin Unite and the opportunity to pitch to the Virgin Impact team for investment.

Sarah Cressall, The Creation Station said:
“I’m absolutely over the moon to have reached the top three in this prestigious Impact award. At Creation Station we are really passionate about nurturing children’s creativity and unlocking potential through art and crafts experiences. I’m particularly proud of all our franchise owners and our Creative Head Office team who deliver our brand values through our art and crafts preschool classes, parties, clubs and events right across the UK.  What has been really inspiring is seeing the calibre of great businesses in the UK who are creating change through ideas and innovation. I feel hugely privileged to have reached this stage in the competition. I’d like to thank all the children, families and businesses we have had the pleasure of working with and also to thank Richard Branson and the teams at Virgin who have helped us raise the profile of the importance of creativity in childhood. And finally my wonderful husband Duncan and three boys Sam, Ollie and Josh without whom I would never have started this inspiring business.”

The Creation Station - National VOOM Final

The three finalists will all be invited to the VOOM Live Finale at ITV studios in London on 28th June.
