Families can join in Britain’s biggest charity event for under five year olds at their local Creation Station centre. The Barnardo’s Big Toddle at Creation Station will include creating a hat and going for a Big Toddle. Details of Barnardo’s Big Toddle events at The Creation Station can be found on The Creation Station Facebook page.

The Creation Station have teamed up with Barnardo’s to support their fundraising for their work with vulnerable under five years olds in the UK. Parent and toddler workshops will be running across UK to make ‘Big Toddle hats’.

“Supporting creative play with your child is really important,” said Sarah Cressall Founder and Managing Director of The Creation Station, ”that’s why we are so delighted to have planned some really fun activities for families in over 300 centres across the UK to support Barnardo’s with their inspiring Big Toddle event”

Charlotte Cooper, Toddle Manager at Barnardo’s comments “We are delighted to have The Creation Station on board supporting the Barnardo’s Big Toddle and helping us to make our 17th year our biggest ever. Every penny raised goes directly to our work with under-fives – so everyone can enjoy themselves and help raise vital funds for those less fortunate children.”

The Creation Station Big Toddle events will include exploring shapes and creating a ‘Big Toddle Hat’. The children and parents will then go for a short sponsored walk.  All money raised will go towards supporting vulnerable and under-privileged children under five years old, including those with physical and learning difficulties.  More information about the Big Toddle event can be found on

About Us.

First and foremost, we are PASSIONATE about nurturing creativity!

What does that mean for us? Well, we love having fun with different materials – paint, glue and, of course, a bit of glitter – but we also believe that being creative is about experimenting, playing and just seeing what happens.

Giving expression to your own imagination in a group setting provides lots of benefits. It helps young children learn to make choices, share, listen, observe, pretend, problem solve, as well as play and interact with others.

The Creation Station isn’t simply about learning how to paint, model or collage along the lines of “Here’s one we did earlier”. It’s all about having a go, being inspired by something quite simple and encouraging each person to develop their own ideas. It’s amazing seeing that happen and it also gives you a huge boost of confidence when your ideas are taken seriously – no matter how old you are!
